A leading scientist has discovered a mineral which proves to be a major source of energy and other benefits. However, he then comes under threat by unknown people who insist that he keep his discovery secret. He turns to Mickey for help, but then they are both kidnapped and taken to a hidden world where they face little hope of going home and where Mickey gets involved in a local struggle for power.
