I have restarted the tools that periodically compute statistics on comic-book collections (by creators, productions, years). I'm now using a different approach: instead of computing the statistics for every user every month (10 million entries to compute, which was infeasible), the tool regenerates statistics for a few of them (10) each night, choosen among those who updated their collection since the last statistics were generated. The idea is that statistics don't need to be regenerated for people who haven't updated their collection anyway.*
First, I'll try to recompute the statistics for all users - which will take a few days - and then let the tool update them when needed. For now, 400 people have seen their stats updated.
At this page you can check if your stats were updated:
List of story in your collection and statistics last generated on Saturday, Jan 10, 2009, 06:18:37 PM
If you see a "?" however, that means you're not among the ones that the tool picked:
List of story in your collection and statistics last generated on ?
But anyone should have its stats updated, eventually.
Finally, you'll see links to all users' virtual collections, and stats (for those who made this information public) at:
http://coa.inducks.org/podium.php
(*) With a minor exception: sometimes data changes in Inducks, which means your statistics may become less exact. Maybe one day, this will also be fixed...

So if everyone changes their collections at the same time, it will take just above one year (375 days) until everyone has had their statistics updated. :-)

No, only about 120 days...
But if you take a look at the updates, you'll notice that there are usually less than 10 users updating their collection each day. When there are more than 10, the tool should fill the gap after a few days. That means stats will be up-to-date every day for most users :)

Dear Cacou,
I noticed that you uploaded page 8 (of 10) of the storyboard of Robert Klein "Queen of The Apple Festival" story, which was based on a discussions Robert Klein had with Carl Barks. I think this is a very important piece of history in the Carl Barks world and I am asking you if you know where I could see the other panels. Just to take a look at them.
Thanks anyway.

Hello Andrea,
I got those scans from Robert Klein. I don't have any other but I suggest to ask Robert Klein directly, he is a regular poster at the DCF forum

Dear Cacou,
I am sorry to bother you.
As a Carl Barks fan I am trying to complete my collection of his Disney comics and, of course, the pencil scripts (such as those of the Junior Woodchucks stories but also the others) are not around. Beside a couple that I found on internet (i.e. one you posted on induck plus the same on a different site and a couple on two other sites), I would like to ask you if you know where it would be possible to find them or if you are plannig any posting of the other scripts. I hope you find the time to answer this question and thanks for the nice job you are doing with this site.
Andrea

I think the Carl Barks Librairy (from the 80s) published most of the Barks scripts. These books aren't really cheap however. (And there are better Carl Barks collections nowadays, in Scandinavia, but I'm not sure if they have those scripts). I suggest you ask this on DCF, as not all of those scripts are indexed in Inducks.
