L'idea del denaro di PdP che, privato di attrito, si trasforma in un lago monetario, è visivamente irresistibile. La fuoriuscita dal Deposito con allagamento di Paperopoli e delle fogne, unita alla impossibile corsa con l'auto di Paperino privata dell'inerzia, è spettacolare in termini della miglior cinematografia catastrofista.
Il rigore delle caratterizzazioni e dei dialoghi gode della stessa forza con cui Rosa illustra e congegna.
Dove abbiamo visto altre interpretazioni così audaci? Per esempio ne "Il serpente monetario" di Cimino (altro autore che ama cambiare lo stato del denaro di PdP, sebbene in termini metafisici), o ne "La minaccia monetaria" di Scarpa e Siegel.
Nell'ufficio della polizia c'è un "Ricercato per essere stato cattivo" che cita l'analogo avviso visto in "Paperino campione di cha cha cha". |

And Rosa here was also exaggerating in referencing old Barks stories. (This was his second long story, and probably he was not planning yet to construct a long standing carer on that.) But the plot structure is fantastic, as usual with the Don. |
