Donkey    Saturday, Sep 5, 2009, 05:08:12 PM  An under-rated Barks' Masterpiece. Art is excellent.
Dia-Dia    Tuesday, Feb 9, 2010, 07:35:47 PM  Like Donkey says.
JasonT    Sunday, Apr 11, 2010, 08:15:42 AM  Agreed with Donkey. Perfect art, whimsical script, and an indefinable charm. A personal favourite.
Checker    Monday, Mar 5, 2012, 01:13:56 AM  That must be one of the most complicated plots in a Barks classic! Ecxellent!
eleanore-clo    Saturday, Jun 16, 2012, 12:28:01 PM  Une histoire, au final très agréable, mais qui doit être lue et relue pour être totalement appréciée.
willem    Monday, Nov 5, 2012, 06:16:34 PM  Good humor
Jason Towers    Thursday, May 9, 2013, 09:17:46 AM  Should be regarded as one of Barks' all-time classics.
Fihalho    Sunday, Dec 8, 2013, 12:05:55 PM  Ein Klassiker !
grastagrad    Thursday, Jul 24, 2014, 12:15:47 PM  Good

ghormax    Sunday, Jan 11, 2015, 01:01:47 PM  Magical! I truly love this story. A wonderful story to make you dream.
Monkey_Feyerabend    Monday, Aug 24, 2015, 08:22:19 AM  A beautiful story, one of the most balanced among the ones of Barks that I read. Indeed, here you have most of what makes Barks a great author. A bit of humor (the guy changing every time Galdstone's last name!), a bit of his gentle satyrical tone (the rain in his homeland Oregon, ahahahahah!), a bit of adventure in an exotic setting, a bit of sense of magic, a of couse plenty of human comedy. In this tale Donald behaves like a man of strong irreproachable moral (ok, Bark's Donald is always a good fellow, but here more than usual), and gets more and more depressed throughout the story.
LuckyLuke    Thursday, Feb 4, 2016, 04:04:37 PM  I was never a big fan of Barks. I have to get this out of the way. Its not that he is bad, but I was introduced to him in an older age and he just didn't leave up to the hype build around him. I liked this story, mostly for the art and subtle message. 8/10.
Teo80    Thursday, Feb 4, 2016, 08:22:32 PM  I agree..slightly underrated for me..it's an excellent Donald adventure..i like it more than "golden helmet" from same year...I love the drawn
Horace555    Tuesday, Feb 7, 2017, 11:26:30 AM  Lots of twists and turns.
K.I.S..A.    Sunday, Apr 2, 2017, 04:38:22 AM  One of the greatest! The reason I started my stamp collection! Nostalgia...
Insidesreenshotoutside    Sunday, Jun 3, 2018, 04:09:55 PM  My second favorite Barks story
DuckfanDownUnder    Monday, Apr 27, 2020, 01:28:47 PM  A gimmicky wild goose chase, with a dubious ending. 6/10
marioandreaaldeghi    Sunday, Mar 7, 2021, 07:42:58 PM  10/10, senza alcun dubbio. Immortale signor Fila Telico.
Step88    Tuesday, Apr 18, 2023, 09:07:56 AM  Words almost fail me. I love this story. So, layered. So interesting. So clever. What’s not to like. I have run out of superlatives. One of my all-time favourite stories and yet so are so many others. So glad I was able to read Barks as a youngster
Harry    Tuesday, May 23, 2023, 06:09:45 AM  Great story and everything but I don't like the confused stamp collector. That's not real.
Alexistss    Monday, Nov 20, 2023, 04:35:19 PM  Top 5 Barks stories and a personal favorite. Amazing story 10/10
