Gyro is watching television, and is disappointed that he has no time for it. He comes up with the idea to go time travel, to meet his ancestors. Donald, who meets Gyro does not believe it, but the time machine really works. Gyro travels to the time that he was a child, the Eighty Years' War and the Middle Ages. Problems always arise, up to prehistoric times. Here he meets the oldest Gyro ever, and he saves him from a dinosaur. The first duck, of the Donald lineage, is annoying, so that Gyro travels to the present. As soon as he meets Donald asking how it was, he gets very angry with him.
